In exchange for such things as free trail downloads, white papers, newsletters, and other offers, the user (the potential lead) is required to complete a registration form. By doing this, the user becomes a qualified lead, as interest is shown in the business products and services. With this information, the business can now establish communication with the qualified lead and further market their products and services.
